Project Two

Privacy, function and form combined with local stonework was required for this hard landscape project. A blank canvass after the pool was constructed, this site needed to be in keeping with the traditional Devon Farmhouse and letting units attached. It needed secure but unobtrusive fencing and a large recreational space around the pool.

Indian sandstone was used to pave the areas directly around the pool and a low mortared local stone wall and steps framed one end with sympathetic use of antique gates and furniture to complete the look.

Both the guests and the owners now have a private and safe environment in which to enjoy the pool with friends, guests and their children.
